THORACIC SURGEON

Nowdays, in modern and advanced thoracic, the less invasive methods are becoming more popular.

This is thoracoscopic pericardial window operation practiced on a quite burdened patient who was found with a sizeable pericardial effusion and exposed his life to a great risk.

With this advanced and modern method the procedure was not only succesfull, fast and safe but at the end of the day saved the patient's life and set the diagnosis.

Bellow you can watch a demostration of this method.

For the record, I removed 1.5 liters of liquid (the largest amount I have ever removed!) when a normal amound is not more than 15-30 cc of fluid.
